Starlight

Starlight

A Poem by Cadence Killday

Idleness

until the stars align

Hopefulness

for them to shine

and give off all

their whitest light

and give off all

their pretty sight

But the stars do not

come at all

And into black holes

they start to fall

Far, far into

the darkest shore

And disappear

forevermore.

You build it up and then tear it down. Well done.

Lovely poem, I loved the rhyme and the imagery in all of the lines. Thanks for sharing.
