chapter II: staying the night with tenka

 

Ren panicked, Jousho screamed, Iggy was dizzier, Gamer was confused, and Ika bit his nails. 

"what are we gonna do" Ren panicked.

"were all gonna die" Jousho screamed.

"stop having pancake attack" Iggy yelled. 

"whats going on" Gamer said. 

Ika ran back and fourth, nervously. Iggy clunched her head, she was seeing the images in her mind again. Her head was now hurting, badly. Now she heard voices, millions of voices. She couldn't understand them. Iggy wanted the pain to stop. Finally a gentle touch was on her shoulder. The voices and images disappeared, her head stopped hurting. She slowly opened her eyes, seeing Ika beside her. His ice-blue eyes were glued to her, his face looked worried.

"are you alright" he softly said. Iggy nodded. Ren was beside him, her purple innocent eyes were directly at Iggy's face. 

"isn't rokeem still in the shower" Iggy said. Ren ran upstairs to get Rokeem. Ren banged on the door 

"Rokeem, you have to hurry and get out of the shower, were invaded" 

After a few minutes, Rokeem came out of the bathroom with only his towel on. 

"what are you talking about" 

"A pack of police cars are outside you have to hurry and get ready to leave" Ren tried to ignore his strong-built chest. Rokeem ran to his room and got ready. Ren ran downstairs, her face was still bright red. Ika already got his pistol and shotgun ready, Iggy was preparing her pocket knifes and putted on her claw-gloves. Jousho and Gamer already turned into wolfs. Hoku got his batana. Ren packed up their money and valuables. Rokeem came out of his room andran downstairs, his fireworks and bombs were prepared. 

"how are we going to escape, without going to the front door" Ren said. 

"Remember the time when Rokeem used his zipline to dive in the gaint mud puddle, how about we use it" Jousho said. (he can still talk english while being a wolf, including Gamer) 

"theres no way I'm going in a mud puddle" Ren said. The front door broke down. Everybody ran upstairs, before the soldiers could see them. They ran to Rokeem's room. Rokeem opened the window and grabbed a shirt that was nearby. He tied the shirt on the wire and got ready to jump out. 

"Ren climb on top of me and hold on tight" Rokeem said, facing his back to her. Ren went on top of Rokeem and clunged on him. Rokeem immediatly went down the zipline. Ren was about to scream, but She knew that the soldiers would know where they were. Ika and Iggy was next, but Iggy wanted to down the zipline by herself. Ika went down the zipline, followed by Iggy. Hoku went down too. Gamer and Jousho jumped down the the roof and landed quietly, they ran towards the direction the zipline ended. Rokeem jumped off the zipline, landing on his feet safely. Ika jumped off the zipline, but he forgot to move out of the way. Iggy jump off and landed on top of Ika.

 "ooow" Ika groaned. Iggy got up and helped Ika to stand on his feet. Hoku jumped off the zipline and fell on the ground. Everybody ran out of the backyard and straight towards the street. They saw more soldiers coming thier way. Iggy lead them to a safe way. Iggy  and the team arrived at Tenka's house,  they entered from the backyard. Ika knocked at the door and looked around to see if there were any soldiers or spies around. The door slowly opened, Tenka's head popped out. 

"whats going on" she asked.

"we have a paparazzi following us, so can you please let us in" Ika said. Tenka opened the door wide open to let her trustful friends in. Gamer and Jousho turned back to humans. Tenka shutted the door behind them.

"how did they find your house" she asked.

"I don't know! someone must've spied on us in the junkyard or something" Rokeem said.

"why did you guys go to the junkyard" She asked.

"we were doing a mission to steal the map from the soldiers and for a bonus we got thier keys" Ika said.

"wait a minute... so you guys created a mission, that didn't include me. thanks alot for not inviting me to the very first mission" Tenka said, sarcasticly. 

"if we took you, the spies would've put a paparazzi on your house too" Iggy said. 

"I guess your right" Tenka said. Iggy patted her back and smiled. Tenka smiled back. She looked down at Iggy's clothes, her clothes were muddy and a little bit ripped. 

"do you need any more clothes, you look a little messy" She said.

"I geuss so" Iggy said. Tenka took her hand and lead her to her room. Tenka looked inside her closet for clothes Iggy could wear. She gave her the clothes and a towel, then she shooed her to the bathroom. Tenka went back to the living room. Ika kept his eyes glued to the floor. He was still thinking about 

what happened to Iggy earlier at home. When he saw Iggy clutching her head, he knew that she was in trouble. He wanted to know what was bothering her, but she always says that she was okay. He wanted to help Iggy, badly. He sighed and rested his head on the wall. Ren was getting sleepy, so she rested her head on Rokeem's arm. Rokeem smiled and rested too. Jousho and Gamer were seeing TV. Hoku was sitting on the couch, feeling peaceful and rested. Tenka was painting her nails. 

"so, how are we gonna get back home" Gamer said. 

"I don't know" Ika said.

"you can hit the night here" Tenka said. 

"thanks" Ika smiled. 

"so, what is your next mission going to be" Tenka asked.

"well, since we already got the maps, we will need to find the control system area. so we can go there and shut down the shield that covers the entrance for freedom. this time we will need your help to go in the controll room and shut down the shield" Ika said. 

"what will I do" Jousho said. 

"whoa whoa whoa! slow you sushi roll" Ika said. 

The bathroom door opened, fog was flowing out of there. Iggy stomped out of the bathroom and pointed at Tenka.

"you.will.die!" Iggy yelled. She was wearing a blue skirt and black shirt that fitted her perfectly. Everybody turned their eyes on her. Jousho and Gamer drooled, Rokeem bursted out laughing, Ren giggled, Hoku stared at her, and Ika stopped himself from having a major nosebleed. 

"come on iggy, you look perfect" Tenka patted her shoulder. Rokeem and Ren were still giggling and laughing. Iggy gave them a death glare, so they quickly stopped. Tenka noticed gamer and Jousho was still drooling on her perfect carpet.

"hey! your messing up my carpet you dogs" Tenka snapped. They both stopped drooling and turned thier eyes to Ika. He was covering his nose and looking away from Iggy. They silenly chuckled. 

"never in my life did I see iggy in a skirt" Ren said.

"will you shut your fly-trap" Iggy said. Ren got silent. Iggy slowly turned her head to Tenka. 

"next time you might wanna buy jeans and pants" Iggy said.

"sorry, I'm more like skirty girl, I'm not really into jeans" Tenka said. 

Iggy growled and clenched her teeth. Tenka walked towards her kitchen.

"anybody hungry~" she sang. Everybody nodded, but Iggy shook her head. 

" what, why not? you look like a skinny beanpole" Tenka said and took out a pan.

"tell that to ren" Iggy said. Ren quickly glared at her. 

"are you sure that your not hungry" Tenka asked. Iggy nodded. 

"okay, theres a room guest room upstairs if you wanna sleep in there" Tenka said. Iggy walked upstairs and left the living room silent. Everybody sat down at the table and waited for the food to served. 

Iggy found the geust room and opened the door. She turned on the light and sat laid down on the king-sized bed. She slowly closed her eyes and rested. The room was getting a little hot, so she opened the window that was beside the bed. She stared at the police cars that were driving around the street and towards her abandoned house. Iggy enjoyed the air that was rushing through her skin, making her shiver. The wind was getting a little stronger, making her raven-colored hair moving lightly. Iggy closed her eyes, dreaming about freedom. She was enjoying that dream for a while, until the images came back to her head again. A little bit of voices invaded her ear. Iggy opened her eyes again, but the images were still in here eyes. She blinked a few times and shook her head. But the images were still in her vision. She went to the bathroom and turned on the faucet. She splashed water on her face, but the images were still there. Iggy found a purefume by the sink. She got the purfume and got ready to spray into her eye. She pushed down, making the liquid go into into her eye. It burned, badly. But the images still didn't go away. Her head was now hurting, making her wince. Iggy couldn't open her eyes anymore, her mind was stuck with the images. Iggy now could see what the images was, it looked like a little girl sitting on fresh green grass. Then the images finally disappeared. 

"was... that me when I was little" Iggy whispered. She slowly walked back to the bed and laid down. She covered herself with a blanket and fell asleep.

Tenka already served the food to her friends. Everybody started to eat quickly, but Ika was poking the sauced tuna fish. Tenka noticed that.

"whats wrong Ika, is my food horrible" she asked.

"no, its about iggy. she was acting a little wierd today, not to mention that she didn't want to eat today" Ika said and chewed on the tuna's meat. 

"what happened" she said, with tuna stuffed in her mouth.

"when the paparazzi showed up, I saw iggy struggling over her head, she looked like she was in pain. I asked her if she was alright, then she nodded like nothing happened. its like she doesn't trust me anymore" Ika said

"lots of people get headaces, don't you get headaces" Tenka said. 

"I think your right, it might've just been a natural thing" Gamer said.

"yeah, I geuss your right" Ika said and kept eating the tuna.

When they were all done with dinner, they were getting ready to go to sleep. Hoku slept on the couch, Gamer and Jousho slept on one couch together, Rokeem and Ren shared a geust bedroom, and Ika didn't know where to sleep.

"go sleep with iggy, I'm pretty sure that she has enough space" Tenka said. 

Ika went upstairs and entered the geust room. Iggy was already in a deep sleep. Ika laid down beside her and rested peacefully. But he was still awake, it was his first time sleeping with the girl in his dreams. He blushed from the thought and shook his head. He fell asleep from Iggy's soft snores. Everybody in the house was asleep, exept for Gamer and Jousho. They were trying to sleep in a good position.

"move your leg outta the way" Gamer whispered, angerly

"I can't you are ontop of my foot" Jousho whispered.

"stop kicking"

"stop moving alot"

"Your kicking my back, thats why I'm moving alot, you dumb-a*s" 

"just-" Gamer fell off the couch.

Jousho sighed "much better"

Gamer glared at him and went to sleep in a geust room, where Ika and Iggy were.

Didn't notice so much, I kinda just lightly read through it (I'm tired today, lawl) but I found this at the end,

"stop moving alot"

This sentance doesn't really make any sense, it would be ''Stop moving around'' or ''Stop moving so much'' , something like that :P Also, when it's a question in the dialogue, you could add ''?'', would clear some minor confusing parts up :P
And 'angerly' it should be 'angrily'

Otherwise I enjoyed reading it, and I hope to read more of your work in the future^^
