Encapsuled

     “…Reflection on Nature…”

Oh, see morn’s crystal dew drop

Gaze into God’s own eye

The dazzle of the cosmos

The rein of dark denied

Sun's rays forever captured

In prism cage of light

Internally reflecting

Dispersing dark of night

Such wonder in bright spectrum

The colors dance--delight

Oh, marvel at such magics

The heart swells at the sight

So simple, yet confounding

All wonders there reside

This miniature--this capsule!

With Universe inside

Yes. I know. "Encapsulated" is the proper word. But "Encapsuled" seems more appropriate somehow.

I see you have no problem using poetic license...perhaps mine has expired? :) A lovely nature write, Rick. The imagery is stunning and the rhyming is flawless. I enjoyed it. Lydi*

Like a galaxy inside a dew drop. The complexities of nature are confounding and yet amazing when one takes the time to look and examine. Excellent poem Rick.

Question: When rhyming one a one syllable word with a two syllable word (eye, denied) do you pay attention to where the accent falls on the two syllable word?

This is such a merry observation, highlighting the magic of nature and optimism. Had to smile where it talks of internal reflection, the cause of the bright light around us of course. Love how you describe nature as 'this capsule-- with universe inside'.

Brilliant! And I actually think it has such impact for being short. God's natural world is certainly something to wonder at! Especially now that technology is shrinking in size ... one can wonder even more.

Love it, I just love the giant picture you get when you read it. I love the way you write it, the joy that comes from it. The words that you have used to describe everything is amazing. Like "Sun's rays forever captured In prism cage of light" Its amazing how you can enchant a reader with such words.
