Light Steps

A Poem by rubydreamer

Walk with me, walk with me...
Light steps, deep breaths...
Float gently across
A carpet of moss
To bathe in untamed fountains
Of misty Mountains
At dawn.

Shhh.

Explore with me, explore with me...
Close your eyes, kiss the skies...
With laces undone
To welcome the Sun
We claim the highest face of stone
To sit peacefully alone
Till twilight.

Shhh.

Lay with me, lay with me...
Arms laced, hearts race...
In firefly light -
Our skin, so white
From the milk of the loving Moon -
We float on Her croon
To the Heavens.

Shhh.

Once again, another beautiful piece! I can almost see the dawn coming over the misty mountains you speak of. My only problem with this piece is the ending of the last stanza. It seems like the ending came to soon, or that it was forced. It doesn't flow like the rest of the piece does. Maybe add another stanza? Or simply re-word the ending. But that is the only fault I can find in the entire piece. It's beautiful :]
