Sunrise

Sunrise

A Poem by rudelizard
"

"There was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope" - Bernard Williams

"

Shadows of the night fading away

Distortion alters the clarity of demise

The sun rises as oceans echo the forgotten past,

Strokes of the oar shatter the mirror of yesterday

A new journey approaching too fast

In a deafening silence we dance

Beautiful illustration of the sunrise with your words. Each day we ready to embark on a new adventure, and hopefully ready for what comes at us. Great poem.

This is...wow! Such way with words. It sounds beautiful with a dash of mute chaos (if you get what I'm trying to say, haha). This is fantastic ~

I had to read this a few times to picture the triumph of the light with glamor and clamor. With resilient speed and hope. Enjoyed it a lot :)

I love that line so much.

For me, it reminds me of early mornings out on the lake in the canoe, the reflections in the water rippling with each paddle...
