I've heard stories of Another World

I've heard stories of Another World

A Poem by Ruth

Dark skies, city lights
Fast cars, cold sights
Welcome, you're not welcome here
One smile, two slips
Good luck, lose things
Stick the pieces together
-------------------------
I've heard stories of another world
In this universe
It's right by our side, we feel it sometimes
But we never go there
It's always warm in that world
And you're never alone
You always wear a smile, no bad thoughts in your mind
How can I go there?
-------------------------
Day by day nothing changes
But everything's different
From how it was before
I shouldn't look back anymore

Pretty simple writing. I write when I feel like it during my free time. Nothing special but thought about sharing some stuff, it would be cool to hear other people's comments. more..
