A Story

A Poem by sHear

I got this pen, I'm writing these words from limbo
I'm writing down a bunch of words as though
I mean something to somebody somewhere
Spending half of my life just realizing I don't care
About half the s**t that I'm supposed to go through.
Shut your mouth, grow some balls, toughen up, and make-do.

I've always had my eyes set on achieving the impossible
I've never gotten close I keep on getting swallowed by the actual.
They realize it will take something offensive and loud
To knock their pretty asses off their ugly cloud.
So they shut you down and tell you it's the impossible you can't accomplish
They shut you down like you're on the Titanic with a jar of polish.
They'll say nothing can be better, it's all going down
But you still have a couple minutes before the entire world drowns.

So I just say f**k it, I don't wanna live on that planet
I don't wanna be a clicker culture s**t, I'll just sleep on it
