Make Way!

A Poem by Susan S.

When Fall hits the pavement--and running,
We're in for an autumn quite stunning.
The deciduous trees
Will bring us to our knees,
Then I pick up my piece and go gunning!

Author's Note

I dithered a long time between line 5 and \"While the men will enjoy their fall gunning!\" and I finally went for the radical. I call myself a raving pacifist and would never \"go gunning\".
