A Friend

Life has it's up's and downs

Sometimes it seems like too much to bare

We find it difficult to stand

 

But then we find that friend

That one person who makes you want to go on

That person who makes you smile through your tears

 

They hold you when you're alone

Dries your tears

Speaks to you when the silence gets too much

 

They make you're darkness turn to light

They make you feel like life isn't as bleak as it may seem

They heal your broken heart

 

That person knows you

That person loves you

That person understands you

 

Hold on to that person

Because as much as you need them

They need you just as much
