Travel by boat

Travel by boat

A Poem by CK Kimball
"

liars get what they deserve

"

Turn your back on me

Go ahead, do it.  It’s not like I needed you anyway.

Yes I may be cynical but at least I’m not tyrannical, darling.

You’ve burnt so many bridges that you have to travel by boat.

And even then you run the risk of the ores catching fire.

Liar, Liar " your whole world is on fire.

And I stand at the edge laughing not even daring to throw you a life preserver.

And honey don’t even ask me to piss on you to put you out.
