Mi Corazon

Mi Corazon

A Poem by Saint No-One
"

For Alyssa Winning

"
She rises through
The east sky,
On the western horizon
of a blanketed ocean,
black and deep,
crests of gray breaking
spilling over the choppy waters,
over the gap the night
wind has torn between us.
She breaks from this
eternally still
yet stormy sea,
writhing.
Her amazon forest eyes
squint through
the white fire
of the first sun
risen above our heads.
Her lips part
loosing the barest
quavering note
of the voice
that has bewitched my soul,
A needle point
to pierce a heart.
Soon her wings will shatter
the still surface,
of the silent sea
on which
my dream ship sails,
and she will soar
into the sky.
High above our
hydrogen and helium
lamp of a sun,
she will glimmer.
The light of my life.

About
I am an artist, but my mind doesn't work the way I want it to. One day I'll be, washing myself with handsoap in a public bathroom, thinking how did I get here? Where the hell am I? more..
