A Poem for the Forsaken

A Poem for the Forsaken

A Poem by Saint No-One
"

My first ever poem, inspired by Dylan Thomas's "And Death Shall Have No Dominion."

"
You did not mean to hurt them so,
A time in memory full of woe,
But now you shall reap what you have sown,
And sit upon a silent throne,
A king of pain,
A king of old,
Who sits upon a throne of gold,
Concealing a heart that's deadly cold,
Until the end of time,
Life repeats this ancient rhyme,
Till end of sin and strife and crime.

a good poem, it was not difficult to follow and understand the main idea. It is important especially if the reader's mother tongue is not English.
"Life repeats this ancient rhyme" - very good line!

I am an artist, but my mind doesn't work the way I want it to. One day I'll be, washing myself with handsoap in a public bathroom, thinking how did I get here? Where the hell am I? more..
