Corrupt Company

Corrupt Company

A Poem by StephenAndrew

Who caused this prolific distrust?
Who crossed the line at first?
Did this problem arise with hast?
Or was it a subtle setting curse?
International corporations,
Controlling all the worlds’ governments.
Leading us into mergerment.
And locking us away for political dissent.
Corpses rotting in there caskets.
Covered with one vibrantly colored flag.
Hidden in a monochromatic hearse.
To hide the lies during the drive
Down the towns main drag
To the sea of white crosses.
Where did all the good men go?
What did this young soldier die for?
Why must we fight this endless war?

For more control?
More control?
Honored brothers memories disgraced.

Is mergerment a word?! I like made-up words :-p

I see your sentiment, although maybe in this regard sentiment is too soft.

Hidden in a monochromatic hearse. To hide the lies during the driveDown the towns main drag

Is my favourite part, for its imagery comes through with untrusting eyes, good stuff :)
