Power Play

Power Play

A Poem by Samantha Canela
"

a poem about the frustration of love

"
I want you wrapped around my finger
I want to be in control
Dangle a treat in front of you
then snatch it away
I want to leave you
wanting more
I am beautiful
I am sensual
I want you running after me
What do I have to do
Let me inhibit your senses
Let your guard down
Let me in
Be willing to let me
seep my poison into your skin
I can love you
like no woman has loved you
But I can run away
I can keep it
I will make you
want it

So let me wrap you around my finger
Be putty in my hands
I am small
But I am powerful
So let the little lion bite
and see
what happens next
