"Fall" 5-14-2014

After a thrilling summer, fall is here.

Panic comes, as the end is in sight.

It marks the end of another year.

Time is something we cannot fight.

Realization and dread are sinking in,

As the leaves begin to drop.

Time is a game no one can win,

It is the reaper that nothing can stop.

The air is growing colder.

And the animals disappear.

Things can never be as they were,

That much is terribly clear.

So you ought prepare yourself, and do it fast

For, too soon, the pending winter will be your last.
