Arcana

By Sami Khalil

The secret mystery or knowledge that pervades the universe

How shall I return…A son or daughter of every land…?

A sentient being of earthly testaments,

Invoking our sad states?

How shall I twist the shape of love,

Without feigning, into a symbiotic shelter within,

Tickling the halos of survival?

Behold, for through windowsills, trees grow together,

regardless of the voices of thunder, fears of snow, or any canterings thereto.

Gaze, for over the ridge, places of wildflowers’ expectations,

Blowing thousand dandelion seed across prairies,

Touching lifetimes of the weariest souls, who skitter

And scatter endlessly.

Imagine, for over the edge, fields of humanity, plowed by tractors of altruism, east and west of our patchworks.

Believe, for we can add to the tireless silence or the final solution.

Strive, for we can nurture the fruits of peace or inflame the raging fires.

Answer, for everything will testify against us at the end of dry moments, imparting our moral dilemmas.

We are more than the valid individuals, more than mud and sand,

more than eddies of our worn-out ideas, failed mighty plans,

options for our existence, the judgmental gazes of sins or death’s grips.

We are offerings of feast or famine, miracles or normalcy events.

We are the balance of mystery, hanging skies upon creeds of free verses.

We are…

Arcana!

I was probably the first to read this when posted.
I could not reply then, for it over-filled my heart and was in perfect synch with reflected thoughts.
The first line was exquisite and it carried thru with each line.
Your metaphors were such beautiful colors of truth.
Each thought was a fractal of light A perfect reflection of the whole rainbow.
The first line set the stage of a heart so deeply convicted to Love.
Henceforth, I heard the Soul cry out for humanity to open their Spiritual eyes and come feast on all there is beyond the veil of the fleshly eyes.

Yeah!"Arcana" The Secret Mysteries of who and what we really are.
"
Tickling the Halos of survival"
Yeah! also for the compassion in your heart for those who are lost in the confusion and emptiness of the teachings of man. The mind framed construction of religion.
for I say it is built upon the teachings of the Physical body (vain and Hollow) and not the Spirit.
"Through window sills trees grow taller"
Yes looking thru with Spiritual eyes.. Oh How Beautifully spoken
And Yes as the next line speaks, Hold onto what the Spirit eyes see for it is the true reflection.
All the things we fear, are all allusions.
If we except the lies as truth then we are only seeing the flesh and not our true natures.
Yeah ! Hold onto the seeds and visions, Hold onto what we know the seeds of truth placed in our hearts and minds and together we WILL plant the most beautiful Garden to cultivate together.
A Place where we can grow like the wildflowers of the field.

We are the Mystery ! We are the choices !
We are Arcana !
God's Will is Set in our Hearts ! God's will is our will !
We Are the Change @
We are Gardeners of what our Eyes see !
We are the cultivators of what our vision gathers.
We Reap what we sow !
If we Sow Beauty and Love we are and Reap that Love.
I believe we are winning the battle of allusions.
Love will and is over coming the Chaos.

I BELIEVE ! I BELIEVE,I BELIEVE ! I BELIEVE,I BELIEVE ! I BELIEVE,I BELIEVE ! I BELIEVE, EYE BELIEVE !,EYE BELIEVE !EYE BELIEVE !EYE BELIEVE !EYE BELIEVE !EYE BELIEVE !

Awesome most beautiful Write Sami ! No wonder you took a break from posting after this one. For I'm sure you gave everything you had into this.
It is spoken from Higher Ground Sami !
Spoken from Sight of a Seasoned Soldier Of The Pen !

As a whole we humans are definitely everything you say and for me it amounts to being in a state of confusion. We claim to be religious yet will we disregard one of the most important standards of being religious and murder or kill in it's behalf? We hate those who show the most love and the ones who are the most diabolical or immoral with fierce support, I'm really saying this to say well spoken Sam. You have hit my humanity nerve.

'.. Blowing thousand dandelion seed across prairies, Touching lifetimes of the weariest souls, who skitter ~ And scatter endlessly. '

That surely is the path Man takes through Life, through a multitude of lives - if you believe so - each supposed to become better than the previous?

Your words remind me of an ancient writing bound in the softest darkest skin, a testament to life in every way! There's a hidden though almost simply found equation as to choice or decision.. how one becomes at the end or the ultimate point.. pure or otherwise. And, Sami, each phrase you place holds a near hidden answer. Like life itself, one has to find it.

Finely, lucidly, spiritually phrased.

We all stand as individual in the surface, but at the bottom we are all interconnected to each other, and each has a role to play, thus we simply need to maintain symbiotic relationships...

It's never enough to read any of your poems just once :) I could contemplate on each verse, on each phrase, each thought and each contrasting image in this poem for hours... it's very whimsical, very philosophical and thought provoking... how we're much bigger than ourselves, much bigger than each of us alone... our individuality is not complete without looking at what we are when we're not individual... thank you for the lovely poem Sami! :)
