The secret mystery or knowledge that pervades the universe

How shall I return…A son or daughter of every land…?

A sentient being of earthly testaments,

Invoking our sad states?

How shall I twist the shape of love,

Without feigning, into a symbiotic shelter within,

Tickling the halos of survival?

Behold, for through windowsills, trees grow together,

regardless of the voices of thunder, fears of snow, or any canterings thereto.

Gaze, for over the ridge, places of wildflowers’ expectations,

Blowing thousand dandelion seed across prairies,

Touching lifetimes of the weariest souls, who skitter

And scatter endlessly.

Imagine, for over the edge, fields of humanity, plowed by tractors of altruism, east and west of our patchworks.

Believe, for we can add to the tireless silence or the final solution.

Strive, for we can nurture the fruits of peace or inflame the raging fires.

Answer, for everything will testify against us at the end of dry moments, imparting our moral dilemmas.

We are more than the valid individuals, more than mud and sand,

more than eddies of our worn-out ideas, failed mighty plans,

options for our existence, the judgmental gazes of sins or death’s grips.

We are offerings of feast or famine, miracles or normalcy events.

We are the balance of mystery, hanging skies upon creeds of free verses.

We are…

Arcana!

Your title brings to mind tarot cards and the poem follows suit in its mystical quality...the vastness of time and space and our own little world that spins within us, merging....always an intelligent & philosophical read from your pen with many layers to peel back....you know I adore 'wildflowers' expectations'...and 'hanging upon creeds of free verse' was a killer poetic finish!
