Macabre

Macabre

A Poem by Sami Khalil
"

The inner dark side of us. An autumn psychological write...He can refer to our psyche..

"

Macabre/…….By Sami Khalil

A macabre write of the inner self…The dark side of us looking in the mirrors of insecurity...

The Poem:

He took the stages of pillared darkness, loathing in bizarre ways sought-after incarnadine backdrops, where madly arrayed moons withdrew, after the unrest of Sabbath gaps in fragile insecurities.

I saw his face, slicing through hunger and thirst, inspired by the tragic; the realm of shriek and grotesque, where certainty kissed the hands of death responsive to the interruption of life.

Easily broken clouds addressed the self-doubt of insomnia, for my goodness, you could hear souls dancing in the burning of little births.

A shadow of gold he was, but to the court of others, a sharpened knife, seeking footsteps of breathless ashes where many ruins are deep in the essence of wisdom so much that temptations are the sighs in the margins.

Was death with him a happy scene, when I fancied the rhyming of standing ovations, simply caressing the veils at the funerals of regrets?

Those willed to shadow sleep are the phenomenon!

Our ego is only happy when everyone is enslaved. A very proofed write.

Not what I expect from your pen Sami... Yet how can I come to have expectations other than truth and creativity in the expression of your truth? So in a sense, this is just the profound depths of vision and contemplation you always deliver.
Is there value in visiting these dark halls of the soul?
Maybe it is dangerous and we should not linger here to bath in shadows for our commiserations with the weakness of our own souls? Still, I believe when we visit this pain we can more effectively empathize with others who need and understanding mind and a soul receptive to their own dark pain.
I can understand the popularity of the poetry when others can see a reflection of their experience in your words.
Well conceived and delivered Sami!

Sorry Sami, usually I try to understand what the writer is intending to mean but the tone and choice words I hear from your write stand out with the screaming thoughts from this wonderful image.
I can't help but tune out everything and listen to what I see and hear from this profound write.

I see and hear how we imprison ourselves behind blood stained walls in dark shadowy rooms and halls of life.
We set ourselves in rooms or cells of darkness. There are only few who are able to break free and break threw the walls and break down the doors as they reach for the light and freedom into the light
I feel this write and photo deeply in my soul and mind....
I feel the struggle, every last bit of strength gathered to break free.... Oh just to see the light at the end, raises the courage and strength in me.
Thank You for this divine inspired write Sami. We should never give up. A locked door is nothing. It is only locked by a couple hinges and screws. Keep looking into the light and we will all have the strength to break free.

I found myself sitting in a Broadway play, watching with intent, as your character is revealed, bit by bit.
You create your scene to perfection, sucking out all light to create darkness and insanity.
It gave me the creeps.

A man obsessed with his failures, perhaps, and seeking death by way of myriad, grotesque and horrifying ways even though he suffers these deaths within his thoughts and dreams, they nevertheless consume him as a whole. It is then he finds it very difficult to know if he is dreaming or if it is real.

Very deep, with profound imagery, with a stinging dramatic effect, leaves my mind pondering image after image over every sentence in the poem. Great write, well structured and constructed, excellent presentation.

Such power is truth. The way you speak of egotism engrossed in insecurity is enlightening and moving. There's such an eery aura within these line and the pictures add emphasis. Without the description this could also make for a horror of sorts. It's great that you are able to describe something, but leave the door open for interpretation. Thank you for sharing.
