Murder at the Highlands/By Sami Khalil

A murder mystery poem... Based on a true story of savagely murdered elderly and wealthy woman at the Highlands.

=========================================================================================================

Footsteps faded in rapt thought as the air was pushed in anger, traced by malignant effects.

In death’s grip, the stolen shadows slipped past frosted silences of breaths, under the shattering of echoes.

In the quiet of condemnation, the lady of the Highlands had her conversation with death, fated in a unified theory of circumstance.

Several minds stumbled when entering the myth of hard choices mixed with hollow foreclosures.

Grace fell that night as horror had its pervasive effect of evil doctrines, while the moon threaded the passing of dark clouds.

Tears were not hidden from the thief of dreams and happiness, as she, the victim, marked the shift change in wounds that weaved the surreal run of thoughts, ending in sad assonance.

Crimes speak for themselves as we find that evils have roots in rebellion and confused power, with no validity of argument or conclusive results.

Then we all grieve and wonder, while desperations are thrown in and out of doubts in solipsistic dribbles by the exploration of truth and justice for all with some facts that are not comestible.

Such was the murder at the Highlands.

Interesting and well written. One thing, I might take out the she, and just put the victim, or replace the brackets with commas, but either way it is a good write.
