Mandala

Mandala

A Poem by Sami Khalil
"

A philosophy write...I would rather choose tolerance over judgment in most cases and ponder the infinite wholeness of humanity.

"

Mandala/………………By Sami Khalil

A philosophy write and not religious...

=====================================================

No longer do I hold a slew of

Scissors, rocks and canes,

In hands or mind corners.

What I hold are lifelines,

Anchored in deliquescent love

And tendered samples.

No longer do I remember an onslaught of

Passerbyes, chasers and distractors,

In glances or tousled pep talks.

What I remember are aftermaths,

Done in soulful strands

And kindled sparks.

No longer I’m the hushed shadows,

High tides and barrier reefs,

Littering in masterful disguises,

The drifting to paranoia,

Plastered in explicit glamour.

No longer but the navigator

Of the Great Beyond;

A keen wit of the infinite

Mandala.

What I remember are aftermaths,

No longer I’m the hushed shadows,

High tides and barrier reefs,

Littering in masterful disguises,

It feels so good to not judge anymore, accept the world and its people as they are👌👌
Your writing evokes a sense of relief :)

there is something beyond this...definitely --we just have to shed past beliefs, or at least open ourselves up to new ones...to the infinite possibilities...not just accept what is with narrow mindedness...we need to think way outside the box.

well said here, Sami.

Love the second stanza. Once I saw Tibetan monks make a beautifully intricate mandala. No sooner had they finished they swept it away. The monk who talked to the crowd said "all is impermanent so don't get attached." I was really struck by the whole scene. This poem reminded of that day and I'm grateful for that. thank you Sami.
