Mandala

Mandala

A Poem by Sami Khalil
"

A philosophy write...I would rather choose tolerance over judgment in most cases and ponder the infinite wholeness of humanity.

"

Mandala/………………By Sami Khalil

A philosophy write and not religious...

=====================================================

No longer do I hold a slew of

Scissors, rocks and canes,

In hands or mind corners.

What I hold are lifelines,

Anchored in deliquescent love

And tendered samples.

No longer do I remember an onslaught of

Passerbyes, chasers and distractors,

In glances or tousled pep talks.

What I remember are aftermaths,

Done in soulful strands

And kindled sparks.

No longer I’m the hushed shadows,

High tides and barrier reefs,

Littering in masterful disguises,

The drifting to paranoia,

Plastered in explicit glamour.

No longer but the navigator

Of the Great Beyond;

A keen wit of the infinite

Mandala.

Littering in masterful disguises,

It feels so good to not judge anymore, accept the world and its people as they are👌👌
Your writing evokes a sense of relief :)

You amazed me once again ! You're choice of words is interesting... The poem was a bit tangled in its' description, less straight forward (which I liked). Your enjabments were good, giving the poem a good flow. The pictures you used also added a lot.

The opening stanza is in itself hypnotic, drawing the reader into what you have to say about the 'power' of the Mandala in focusing the mind and banishing distractions.

Semi, my lover was a Buddhist. Mandala is the circle of life? The symbolism reminds me of the Tree of Life. The Nile river I believe looks just like that from space :) I have read Blavatsky, Hall...Tolle. Find it all very interesting. The bottom line is Love. There will be peace with love. I love your artistry, dear poet :)

Oh, I love this! Not only are the mandalas chosen for this poem quite beautiful, but I can also feel my own skin flake away while reading your words. They have this freeing effect.

"What I hold are lifelines, anchored in deliquencent love (I had to look up that word) and tendered samples." Beautiful.

"What I remember are aftermaths, done in soulful strands and kindled sparks." I can imagine you creating a tapestry of your life. In fact, I feel those threads tugging in mine.

Such a great piece.
