Mandala

Mandala

A Poem by Sami Khalil
"

A philosophy write...I would rather choose tolerance over judgment in most cases and ponder the infinite wholeness of humanity.

"

Mandala/………………By Sami Khalil

A philosophy write and not religious...

=====================================================

No longer do I hold a slew of

Scissors, rocks and canes,

In hands or mind corners.

What I hold are lifelines,

Anchored in deliquescent love

And tendered samples.

No longer do I remember an onslaught of

Passerbyes, chasers and distractors,

In glances or tousled pep talks.

What I remember are aftermaths,

Done in soulful strands

And kindled sparks.

No longer I’m the hushed shadows,

High tides and barrier reefs,

Littering in masterful disguises,

The drifting to paranoia,

Plastered in explicit glamour.

No longer but the navigator

Of the Great Beyond;

A keen wit of the infinite

Mandala.

What I remember are aftermaths,

And kindled sparks.

No longer I’m the hushed shadows,

High tides and barrier reefs,

Littering in masterful disguises,

It feels so good to not judge anymore, accept the world and its people as they are👌👌
Your writing evokes a sense of relief :)

Very impressive and reward read. There are many different ways we can deal with life, why so many choose violence, lies and deceit is a question that will never be answered. Too bad goodness couldn't prevail. But then, I guess, what is goodness? Many answers to that too.

As I read...
I feel as if I am at the feet of a great speaker, telling me his visions, that take me on a journey of what was, what is, and what possibilities lies before me..

Mental cleansing allows us to see ourselves and how we interact with the world around us so much better. You have described the shedding of intolerance, judgement, apathy and all that hinders us from becoming truly human. A very nice philosophical write.

Beautiful and spiritual! Mandala as the spiritual guide, we should all have. It takes time and realization and wisdom to be where you are at. And of course self-acknowledgement. To know oneself, to love oneself, to be light as a feather yet acknowledging everything but letting it by like a passerby watching. And then can you love others and accept them and all things as is.

Already with that first sentence, "No longer do I hold a slew of / Scissors, rocks and canes, / In hands or mind corners." Giving up intolerance isn't just bodily but mental, we have to release out entire minds from hate, every depth and corner. But that third stanza is definitely my favourite. I read so much more than tolerance for other human beings in that: I saw a general concern for life, human and otherwise . . .
Really lovely write.

When we are judgmental to everyone we in turn bring ourselves down more than anything. It weakens the mind and makes us more shallow. When we can open up to the possibilities surrounding us and discard our tunnel vision, we become closer to accepting ourselves. I feel this is one to meditate with. :)
