Redamancy............................. By Sami Khalil
Romance and beauty
==================================================================

Upon the lunar light,
I read your curved lines,
memorizing the edges of
beautiful shadows and
concealed paradoxes.
Upon the star light,
I payed attention to the center,
hiding in lovely masks,
donating my organs of selfless
withering to the bleeding fantasies,
releasing emotions upon the fray
of memories over hallowed ashes.

The familiar looked deviant and peculiar,
ricocheting noticeably backwards,
needing inked notes and helpless blankets.
I pretended to be the eclipse between
the two realities, allowing redamancy
to be saved by losing herself in return.
Beauty I saw, rebirth I witnessed and
messages I received.
Upon the cloud linings...

This is writer's romance... You pen with such a tender hand and intricate understanding of wordplay, truly a writer's writer.

dear Sami... loving in return... reminds me of "Man of La Mancha"... to every man his Dulcinea... to every woman
her Don Quixote... Sami, your poetry
is serenely beautiful. truly, Pat

Exquisite as always! Now I'll have that word on my brain all day. Seriously, I love that last stanza because when we love and give of ourselves, we not only are saved but enhanced. I'm so pleased and privileged to read such a lovely poem.

Another brilliant piece of romantic musing, Sami.

To take a step back from a jaded love and view it in a new light, to witness the beloved again from this obtuse angle, and realise that all that stirred deep love and longing in the heart still remains right in front of you; it was just that you had forgotten what it was and that it was still there through the fog of passing time. And the epiphany leads to truer love and bliss.

As always, brilliantly penned. Delicate, free flowing and dipped in the fountain of Romantic love. Excellent work.

A journey of romance it is! said the King. Fine writing Sir Sami, eloquently said, with the flow and the imagery I was just riding on smooth jazz notes!

to truly be able to see something from another perspective would be scary and so enlightening. you would know without a doubt that your love is received and returned in kind. to love someone so deeply that you feel that connection and think you know every curve, every angle, every tiny detail, and yet, you have a lifetime to only scratch the surface. to give yourself fully to someone else--body, heart, soul, mind--is such a gesture that we come out the other side changed..reborn...nicely written as always Sami.. your writing not only makes the reader feel, it tickles the intellect and the imagination.
