Whisper LoudA Poem by Chris G. Vaillancourt
Whisper loud.
Immortalize my name in vibrant rumours. And let my eulogy read that I waged war on my emotions but only partially won. Does my division shine in sombre conclusion? If so, it represents a nomadic disposition. During the halcyon of the night is when she visits, effervescent and inspiring. Will I rise to the occasion? Or will I fail to imprint my indulgent mannerisms? When sunbeams are shining brightly, is she as distracted as I am? The silence is so loud, and so marvellous! When the great designer runs out of ink, will the end fall upon us for my repentance? Account is in overdraft, and I am closing thoughts to future cooperation. Leave us not to gnaw upon mortality. We wage dissent on infractions we did not commit. Rather, redeem our atmospheres, and let us make clear the words of redemption. © 2012 Chris G. VaillancourtReviews
