Blank Silence

Blank Silence

A Poem by Chris G. Vaillancourt

Meandering winds
playfully rushing
past the
emptiness of the mind.
Quiet seconds of
contemplation,
introspection,
renewal.

I close my eyes
hoping
everyone has gone away.

It's sad. Why would one want everyone to "go away"? Or is it just the way it seems, as if they have?
Not bad Chris...!
