Painless Hurt

This was how I felt when I was very sick for four straight days.

Painless Hurt

I hear your whispers
As they are said
The deafening quietness
I shudder unnoticed by you

 

You tear me
You rip me
You burn me
You kill me

 

Nobody notices you
You of no body or shape
Yet you still come to me
Torturing me endlessly

 

You caress me
You kiss me
You pet me
You hug me

 

This excruciating pain
You inflicted on me
Mercilessly like a demon
Making me your own

 

You embrace me
You shun me
You toy with me
You thrash me

 

Leave me like this
I don't need you anymore
Rid me of this virus
Rid me of this painless hurt

Great job, i enjoyed reading this poem. I can relate to what you are saying in this poem, i have an illness that causes me to be in pain almost every day, thank you for sharing this with us, you did a wonderful job in showing exactly how you were feeling.
