Intoxication

A woman met in the woods - a good sign? or bad?

Intoxication

By Alasse Fefalas

I met her
Deep in the woods
An unearthly creature
Only one left of her kind

She came to me
Hand outstretched, palm downwards
Blue skin and long orange nails
I could not help but to kiss it

She stared at me
Her fiery orange eyes searched
Naked, even though fully clothed
Vulnerable in every way

She whispered to me
Stood beside me, right into my ear
Her sweet velvet voice rang
Shivers ran up my spine

I left like a coward
Quickly, tail tucked between my legs
For her words were true
When my every thoughts were invaded

"Let me enter your mind,
Haunt you in your dreams,
Until you are intoxicated by my presence."
