Child abuse is a crime, put a end to this

Don't hurt me mommy , for i cannot see.

My eyes you have blackened and i'm starting to bleed

Don't hurt me mommy, I did not mean to shout 

I know that i'm worthless, you'll never be proud

Don't hurt me mommy, i'm sorry i split milk on the floor 

Please don't grab me by the hair and shove me into the door.

Don't hurt me mommy, I did nothing this time

Yet you still continue to beat me as if iv'e committed a crime.

Don't hurt me mommy, I didn't mean to swear 

Here comes the whacks on my skin that is bare.

Don't hurt me mommy, I'm sorry I exist.

I'm sure if i died you'd be satisfied with it.

But then you'd just get another one. 

Adopt them and treat the with care.

After a month that will change though.

They will forever be scared.

I don't come from an abusive home per say I come from an alcoholic one and it's my dad but some of the things in the poem still hit home with me you did a good job portraying the thoughts and feelings in the poem
