Blue Boy

Blue Boy

A Poem by not me

Audacious, and shining in a city

So ignorant, lies a cold and Blue Boy,

For a boy he only was, this Blue Boy.

Sleep, sleep now and hope that the morning brings

You serenity, anonymity.

Tomorrow would never come, Lonely in a room.

Love left, loveless. Bring back his soft breeze.

Oh love, reasoning unattainable,

Eyes have looked their last, who could understand?

Blue coloured silk cushions his bluest dream.

Blue is the colour of his eyes so blue

And tired, for who else on this crowded sphere

Is as cold and alone as you are now?

And whose cheeks as black and moist as are mine?

So silent and still is this lifeless lump,

In an outstretched blue ocean with arms spread,

You float on bubbled laughing waves in peace

Content and smiling in eternal life.

Out! Out! And into crowded air, in blackness.

In flashes amid cries and prying eyes.

New pain engulfs him, He is in Red Fire.
