Prescription to Death

Pain.
It isn't real.
The doctors say.
I guess I'm crazy anyway.
Take these pills.
Everyday.
This one for depression,
May cause smile recession.
Here's your Percocet.
Don't get hooked,
Don't end up dead.
Take this Xanex,
it tastes great.
Just like the other pills you ate.

Hmm. If it weren't a poem it would literally seem like a diary of a depressed girl who is about to kill herself. One word for this poem...Powerfull. With such low ammount of lines, minimal sentences and lack of rhymes you created something that gives a dark aura and hopeful light packed into a 14-line prose. Outstanding!!!
