Eraser

Eraser

A Poem by Rebecca_Rose
"

To the people you seriously wish you never met.

"
I wish I could erase you,
I wish you never were in my life.
I wish you never passed through,
Cut it out of my mind with a knife.
I want to never remember your face,
I wish you were dead in the ground.
You are a dead end in a cold case.
A nobody who was never found.
I would kill you if I could,
I would make it an accident.
I know for a fact that I would,
I wouldn't need any abetment.
A roach in the crevices of my mind,
You're meaningless and a pest.
I want to leave your memory behind.
I used to think, lest I forget.
I beg to lose my memory of you.
I curse all names I cannot burn away.
The skies would appear much more blue.
Melting recollections, for this I do pray.
