Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

A Poem by LightforChrist
"

This poem is formatted to look like a letter from God to all of his daughters about how the world has turned them against him and has destroyed the beautiful and loving image that he has made them in

"

Dear Daughter,

What has made you do this?

Is there something I missed?

You are beautiful in my eyes,

So forget all their terrible lies.

I have made you out of love

And to be as white as a dove.

I have created a man of valor

Who will follow you to the altar

He will love you forever and ever

And never be a harmful drifter.

Your broken past will be exiled,

The day you hold your first child.

My healing hand will mend your scars

Making them as bright as the stars

When you are alone and depressed

Turn to me and I will give you rest.

The world has turned you against me

For they only believe what they can see.

Perfection consumes this world of evil

That considers their bodies to be easels.

This world of vanity will one day fall

For my might is stronger than them all

In that case, remember this one thing

You are the daughter of a powerful king

Love your heavenly father,

God
