EKG

I wrote this really late at night and didn't remember I did so until my friend reminded me the next morning.

I like to think
that the electrical impulses
of your love expanding and contracting
tickle my ear
in the secret spaces of my head against your chest
tingling, tingling
drawing a twisted-yarn map
down, down from my ear to my heart
to connect it with yours.

I don't really have anyone else edit my poems, so they're all kind of word vomit. Go ahead and rip it apart.
