Caliginous Knight

Caliginous Knight

A Poem by realmwriter

A heart as dark and stark as night
In search of fear and dread and fright
To find a love of all things death
To take away her vapid breath

A blackened stain upon her gloom
A rampant chill, that spells her doom
Her pain and hate at finger tips
Her poisoned smile pursed her lips

  Cold and bitter, blackened love
Buried in cinders she speaks of
Ashes fall to mend a feted heart
The very ashes that ripped it apart

So to find her valentines stings
On battered and broken, pulled taut strings
Pierced her flesh and sowed her shut
A caliginous knight wrenched her gut

On demon steed they rode the gloom
With impassioned heat they filled the room
A valentine of ghostly flesh she found
Two hearts come one to rattle and pound
