Consequence

Consequence

A Poem by A. F. Stewart
"

A dark poem.

"

Consequence

Scream, rage, tracking the shadows,
Howled against the pain.
All emotion cried into the air.

Hurt, ache, anguish that can be seen;

No one that cares.

Callous sorrow inflicted without thought.

Marked, scarred, black or blue.
Bent and broken remains,
Scattered through the future.
