ConsequenceA Poem by A. F. StewartA dark poem.
Consequence
Scream, rage, tracking the shadows,
Howled against the pain.
All emotion cried into the air.
Hurt, ache, anguish that can be seen; No one that cares.
Callous sorrow inflicted without thought. Marked, scarred, black or blue.
Bent and broken remains,
Scattered through the future. © 2008 A. F. StewartMy Review
