The Disease

The Disease

A Poem by Geist
"

I find myself feeling a way I thought would never again come to me...

"

So smokey it is
All this haze
It clouds my eyes
It blurs my mind
It weighs heavy on my chest
Makes it hard to breathe
It's choking the life out of me
Slowly, day by day
Until my veins run dry
Of hope and faith
And my heart
Becomes an empty shell

I'm just an average 26 year old guy living in Northern WI. I write dark disturbing poetry I'm told. I tend not to like much of what I write and don't consider myself very good at all. I'm just here to.. more..
