Inadvertenly the Wind

Inadvertenly the Wind

A Poem by Michael G. Smith
"

White lies lead to something bigger

"
You open up a door
Just to let the breeze
But, in the end
Inadvertently
You've invited in
The wind

Short poem but it has a powerful impact. I like the metaphor. Uhm... I was just wondering, the first two lines sounds incomplete (for me) without the preposition "in".. I don't know.. Just a thought.

I love the poem, anyway. Well done! :)
