I don't understand the picture. I mean, I understand it, obviously, I'm not a moron *laugh* but I don't understand its context in relationship to the poem. The poem that was very good? you ask. And I say, Yeah, that poem. Some real strong emotional stuff going on in this write; struggles with being a real man who can't cry (bullshit, by the way), some heavy stuff from your past, the feeling of being alone...all heady stuff. All of which you captured beautifully. I'm just completely lost by the picture. Only because this didn't come off as a piece on oppression. Just my own personal two cents, though. Excellent write.

U r correct the poem is not about being oppressed... but i thought that the photo would show that the poem could be applied to many situations...

Great message man! I don't really have any critiques. I enjoyed your poem and I think the illustration is perfect for what you're talking about. A man burdened by fear, but trapped from discussing it because of his perceived masculinity. That's real!
