I see you in them (Poem)

Dawn approaches

the sky darker than ever

and then they come...

Thousands of stars resting

illuminating the night sky

as they appear

I see you in them

smiling at me

from miles away

I make a wish

as you change

into a shooting star

Showing yourself

through it's image

lapping the sky

Going further away

to the universe

meeting other stars

Fading away to dawn

leaving me to wait for you;

once again

It is said that the dear ones whom we lose forever are the beautiful souls chosen by the God, to illuminate and adorn the heavenly blue carpet, skies, and glimmer like pearls :)

Skies also are a symbol of hope, so when these stars glimmer, they give us the hope that though the ones we loved aren't with us in person, but they are beautifully peaceful in the dark night sky, shining, smiling, and giving us the hope that they are OK :)

I've always been the one who've loved watching morning and night sky, the stars, and moon for hours, and Indeed could relate with your words, when you lose someone, the stars glimmer, and make us feel that the person is OK, wherever they are! Nature and the night skies, those shooting skies are incredibly...I love how they make us smile in surprise 😊
