Breaking my heart

One step at a time

Countin the hours

Til’ you’ll be mine

The clock runs slow

The second hand is stuck

Lost in time

And outta luck

On a treadmill

Running in place

Reflecting on life

I can’t keep pace

And as time stops in front of my eyes

I look back and watch as my heart dies

I’m sick of all of life’s lies

i can see how you are tired and frustrated. you described it faintly but it shows. believed in happy endings once but it failed you in the end. its sad but its reality.
