SUICIDAL HARMONY

SUICIDAL HARMONY

A Poem by shadowtigers
"

I see red

"

I caressed your hand that night
Before it fell away
It was the taste of bitterness
The fantasy I only thought I had
Before I found out
We were never real
It must have been the anger
From the illusion that slipped away
Because I saw the nothingness
The red beneath your skin
A piece of the model
That makes the beauty dim
And the world as cold
As your heart
But I cry with emptiness
For the sanity I thought I had
For the harmony between our suicidal thoughts
That made us one
For a night
I must have a moment
To look back at the past and laugh
At my foolishness
For everything I thought I could have had
There is a reason here
Why the darkness takes the sun
A reason for the broken promises
To lay without me
For some uncertain end to come
I only see red
The blood beneath our skin
I wanted to tell you
Before I knew it was over
Before you turned your back
Stealing the sleeping I never had
And fading away
Losing all the guilt
That covered me
In empty lies
In torturess
Where your thoughts caress the bitterness
Where you were found and I was lost
And passion came with such a cost
I saw red
In my thoughts
I saw emptiness
