A Poem by shallimarRose

Just a confusing poem

traveling the dark corridors

of my own troubled mind

I continue to walk alone

quietly searching for clarity...

but pictures have poor resolution,

puzzle pieces are irregular in shape

and unwanted echoes clamor about

until the clutter becomes unbearable

blindness seems intentional

 sanity seems to dissipate

in moments of ambivalence

when cries fall on deaf ears...

Well written. The descriptive imagery has expressed a lot of emotion. Great job.

There are moments in life when nothing makes sense. We look for our purpose, our direction. I really liked the 'pictures have poor resolution' metaphor, it describes so well what it feels like when we fell confused, unable so see things clearly.

Life can do this to us. I have found that sometimes things that happen to us for no aparent reason and makes no sense at the time, will make sense latter in life. If that even makes sense. There are no deaf ears in here Rose.
