Sorry

Sorry

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

“Sorry”, a word that I really mean,
I know that I didn’t treat you like my queen,
The mistake was on my part,
And I know how much it broke your heart.

Sorry! For making you sad,
Sorry! I know that am really bad.

Now I realize how much I hurt you,
And I have no words or rights to argue,
How can I be so stupid?
To break the arrow struck on me by cupid!

Sorry! For making you go mad,
Sorry! I didn’t keep you happy like your dad.

My life is now so dull and gloomy,
My dear, its all cause you are not near me,
I curse myself for not treating you well,
And deeply regret for causing those entire swell.

Sorry! For all the ado because of me that you had,
Sorry! I will never repeat, and will ever keep you glad.

Though am not worth to call you back,
Still I want you, and you can also give me a smack,
Baby! One more chance, please forgive me!
I promise to keep you always happy and glee

Sorry! i wont scold even if you add tons of salt in my dish,
Sorry! please do come back, and its my only wish...

The words I am sorry can be wonderful things to hear when they are heartfelt. I love this poem for it explains the mistakes you made which mean more when saying I am sorry. I like the flow of this poem as well. Nice job on this poem.

It's true that we all make mistakes... and fewer and fewer seem to know how to say sorry anymore... This is a beautiful, heartfelt expression that can truly teach us what it means to surrender our will and admit we were wrong.

This reminds me of the song "Whatcha Say" by Jason Derulo.. It does .. because I guess he tries to ask for an apology in it too.. I like this write alot.. I mean sorry,, 5 letters.. yet it's sometimes so hard to say !!
