Love At First Sight

Love At First Sight

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

With my head up, i walked down the street
With bare foot, i didn't bother about the heat
I was so bold, and was scared of no man,
All faces were different, and few were strange
Each had an expression, varying in range

Noticing none, I strolled down my way,
My heart so peaceful and gay
I stood there and looked amazed
When I saw a sudden flash of light
It made me wonder, if what I was doing is right

His feature so manly
A face, which was so godly
Was worth admiration
Person sure made of love and care
Stood there mesmerized at first stare

Lost my heart in his simple smile
Wish he could stay there for little more while
Fell in love at the very instance
Details about him, I had no clue
But simply wished that he will love me too

About
To walk along the shore, leaving behind the footprints for the sea waves to tickle, the cool water washing your legs as you walk by, gentle breeze whiffing your cheek and mildly wavering .. more..
