Secret Of Happy Married Life...

Secret Of Happy Married Life...

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

GRANDSON:

Oh my grandpa, so aged, sitting by the sill,

Question that I’ve got, to it answer he will,

Sans teeth, sans energy, but a secret he hath got,

What ‘tis from youth I’ve thought!

How so happy were they from young,

Along with his wife love songs they sung,

Right from wedding till date they care,

Oh how so lovely their love they share.

No brawl, no dolor, no tears ‘tween them,

Relationship like theirs is pure like gem,

How but you can manage life at ease,

All of sorrows out of it you squeeze.

The little secret of your happy wed life,

That you uphold with your loved wife,

May you care to share only with me?

With that view my married life I’ll see.

GRANDPA:

My young and handsome grandson,

How I love you in loads and ton,

Wish do I to share my elfin arcane,

Mimic that and to your life enchain.

Love was born and brought up well,

For long time now in our hearts it dwell,

Your grandma and I never stayed apart,

For ‘tis the magic touch of our love art.

Love gets quarrels, crashes and tears,

Before nightfall’s all squabble clears,

To carry it all along, youth care do they?

Splitsville is a style or trend they say.

Never take for granted the union with mate,

Give no space for fakeness or hate,

Within the secret shelf our ego we’d kept,

Never once in our life out it crept…

Nicely done-- I still miss my grandparents even after 45 years.

Finally I found everythin I needed to complete my lab report in this extremely detailed report of you. Surely I'll do my best to adopt your ideas properly and write a reasonable, skilled thesis paper. custom thesis

Wow, that is beautiful, and so full of emotion! Great write, and I loved it! All of my grandparents' eyes were filled with love everytime they looked at eachother, up until they died. This poem really gets to me, and I loved it! Thanks for sharing!

A amazing poem. My grandparent were 70 years together. His eyes were filled with love for my grandmother till his last day. Thank you for a outstanding poem.

A really wonderful poem full of good advice and wisdom. When one decides to marry, perhaps they should think being with this person makes me happy instead of expecting the person to always make them happy.

Such a delightful poem, full of love and life and guidance. Your words touch on sadness now and again but there's also such a beautiful example of how marriage can be,

'Never take for granted the union with mate,
Give no space for fakeness or hate,
Within the secret shelf our ego we’d kept,
Never once in our life out it crept…'
