Stream of Conciousness

Stream of Conciousness

A Poem by Aradie Rain

People call me crazy

They think im going loony

They believe my sanity is out of order

I know they are wrong

They do not know what I have been through

The pain, The anger that lies deep inside this soul of mine

We people live upon this earth

We consume its food

eat its pie, I love pie

But still we devour the earth

like there is no tomarrow!

I have watched

people kill

bomb each other

In episodes of fury

and anger

over somthing as obscure as land

We do not own the land

It is the land that owns us

Without the land there would be no pie

And I love pie

People think Im crazy,

tree hugger.

They dont think I see them

But I do

Looking out their windows at me

Wondering why I could possibly be dancing

during a thunderstorm

In the rain

I love the rain

I love to dance

and above all I love pie

Ah man, Pie is amazing

It seduces me every time

With its warm, buttery crust

mmmm

Everytime I say goodbye to my pie

Its like there is no tomorrow

"Parting is such sweet sorrow,

that I shall say goodbye till it is marrow"

Shakespear really knew what he was talking about.

He must have loved pie too
