Sea Scapes

Sea Scapes

A Poem by Jaded Perception
"

a contest piece

"

When we wear a heart of stone

we wander to the sea

where no one else can find us

why won't they let us be

you in your trousers

and I in my floppy straw hat

two hearts

unsure and guarded

amongst the salty tides

lapping at our toes

beautiful white sand in our hair

and we are moved

walls lowered cautiously with

each tender touch

the sea speaks

and love

ABOUNDS.

Terrific work... it's a wander why others must try and stifle our relationships by trying to tell us how we should run them when everything is already fine.

Wonderfully descriptive. It is funny. I was just thinking earlier today of walking along a sandy beach with someone I love. Great piece. :)
