The last poem I will ever write for him

I don't love you.
You think you loved me.
I don't understand why you thought
You thought we were meant to be

You still want to make me smile
You still want to be my friend
Well...tough luck, my dear,
All good things come to an end

I never truly got over you.
Your name never ceased to cause me strife
You will not be forgotten
But it's time I moved on with my life

A heart that was once red and alive
Has slowly faded to black
Turn away and leave me here
And don't you dare to come back.

I'm making up for reviews I haven't returned. So you may get a few from me depending :). OK, this is a wonderful poem about heart break and forgetting. I think if he still causes you pain after a long time than it really is time to move on and not be friends. Its hard but for the best. Lovely poem
