What Would It ProfitA Poem by sheila russ
Previous Version This is a previous version of What Would It Profit.
What would it profit For me to lose control I wouldn't gain one thing Only lose my soul To be caught lost In this all familiar state Is a sure way to hell And it's bound to seal my fate So what would it profit If I just laid down and died Would it show my bravery Or how I fought and tried Life is filled with what if's Consequences of a cause unfit Only illusions to the conclusions Again what would it profit
