love so lost.

love sometimes conquers distance. that is what one always wishes for.

will it one day be the same,

when i call out for you and say your name?

will you remember the way it was,

when all we had was only us.

will i remember all of the lies,

or will my heart pertain disguise?

i will always have love for you.

love unrequited or will you stay true?

i want for you to try and fight

for a love i know is right.

if you go please do not forget,

do not let love your heart regret.

The first half of this poem really touched me, then it got slightly, but only a tab cliche.

There is a gentle innocence that your poetry can really feed off of, I sense you have a lot of potential. Don't be afraid to write poorly, I often write terribly, because I believe it is the act of writing itself that is the fun part.
